Seara is Marfrig Group’s global food brand. Seara’s product portfolio is in line with the modern daily life, providing taste and convenience to the consumers. The company is the second largest producer and exporter of further processed poultry products in Brazil and one of the largest Brazilian producers and exporters of pork meat.
The company offers the entire range of poultry products, ranging from chicken and turkey in whole pieces and in special cuts, to industrialized products such as: breaded products, ready meals, burgers, lasagnas, pizzas, bolognas, hams, sausages, frankfurters, smoked items, salami, cured meat, special product lines with low fat and salt content, as well as traditional and party products. The company also offers the entire range of pork products, pork in whole piece as well, in special cuts, thermo-processed and industrialized products such as bolognas, hams, sausages, smoked items, among others.
Seara was established in 1956, its administrative office is located in Itajaí (SC) and the commercial office in São Paulo (SP), the operating structure includes 29 operational units, approximately 36,000 employees and 10,000 integrated outgrowers. Other Seara’s operational units comprise a private port, hatcheries, parent farms and feed production units.
Since January 2010, Seara became part of Marfrig Group and has integrated the operations and brands of the traditional companies: Santa, Zeina, Mabella and DaGranja.
